Questa mattina abbiamo realizzato una grande piramide umana formata da ben 41 alunni e 5 insegnanti: che emozione! In seguito siamo andati a visitare il "Centro di Raccolta e Smistamento dei Rifiuti" di Kalmar, una struttura molto pulita e ordinata che é un bel esempio della funzionalità e dell'efficienza del modello sociale svedese! Tornati a scuola la professoressa Ann ha tenuto una bella lezione sulle api e sull'importanza dell'impollinazione nel ciclo biologico della natura. In seguito, con dei bastoncini di bambù, abbiamo realizzato delle piccole casette per le api selvatiche che abbiamo poi appeso sui rami degli alberi all'interno del giardino della scuola. Nel primo pomeriggio il professor Norbert ha portato, con grande competenza ed entusuiasmo, una lezione di modellaggio sul tema dell'aria e della terra. I ragazzi hanno realizzato con la creta varie specie di uccelli che hanno visto nell'isola di Öland. La giornata scolastica si è conclusa con un canto corale ed una retrospettiva della settimana vissuta insieme a Kalmar. In primavera verranno in Italia gli amici svedesi e così continueremo il lavoro sul tema dei "50 piccoli gesti quotidiani che possono miglioreare il mondo" pubblicando un libro che verrà poi distriubuito nelle scuole Steiner italiane e svedesi.
Dopo aver pulito gli spazi scolastici, un gruppo di ragazzi, accompagnato dai propri insegnanti, é andato a fare schopping in centro , mentre un altro gruppo ha preferito andare al mare per fare il bagno nel Baltico e una rilassante sauna! La serata si é conclusa in allegria con una bella cena tra italiani e svedesi: che bello! Grazie di cuore a Cecilia Ferrari (tutor di ottava classe) e a tutti gli insegnanti della scuola di Kalmar per la grande disponibiltà ed accoglienza che ci hanno dimostrato in questi giorni pienissimi di attività, laboratori ed esperienze di vita! This morning we made a big human pyramid of 41 students and 5 teachers; it was amazing! Then we went and visited Kalmar rubbish collection and recycling centre; such a clean and orderly place is a good example of the functionality and efficiency of the Swedish social system. Once at school, the Biology teacher gave a beautiful lesson on bees and the importance of pollination in nature cycle. After her explanations, we built a few little hives for wild bees by using bamboo sticks and we hung them on tree branches in the school garden. In the afternoon the Art teacher, with great competence and enthusiasm, gave a clay modelling lesson on the elements air and earth. The kids modelled different species of birds seen on the island of Öland. The school day ended with a song and a review of the week spent in Kalmar. Next year the Swedish friends will visit us in Italy; so we will go on working on the theme "50 little daily gestures that can better the world" and we will publish a book destined to be given to Italian and Swedish Waldorf schools. After cleaning some of the school areas, a group of students with some teachers went shopping to the town centre while another group with other teachers preferred to have a bath in the Baltic sea and have a relaxing sauna. In the evening we enjoyed ourselves with a beautiful dinner in which even some Swedish students took part. We thank with all our heart Cecilia Ferrari (the eighth grade tutor) and the teachers from Kalmar Waldorf school for their welcoming and the dedication shown during these days full of activities, workshops and life experiences. I morse gjorde vi en stor mänsklig pyramid av 41 elever och 5 lärare; det var fantastiskt! Sen besökte vi Kalmars soptipp och återvinningscentral KSRR; en så ren och välordnad plats är ett bra exempel på det svenska samhällets funktionalitet och effektivitet. Väl hemma vid skolan igen gav biologiläraren en vacker lektion om bin och betydelsen av pollination i naturens cykel. Efter hennes instruktioner byggde vi några små kupor för vilda bin med hjälp av bambukäppar som vi hängde på trädgrenar i skolträdgården. På eftermiddagen gav konstläraren, med stor kompetens och entusiasm, en lektion i skulptur med lera i elementen luft och jord. Barnen modellerade olika arter av fåglar som kan ses på Öland. Skoldagen avslutades med en sång och en tillbakablick på veckan som vi har tillbringat i Kalmar. Nästa år kommer de svenska vännerna att besöka oss i Italien; så vi kommer att fortsätta att arbeta på temat "50 små dagliga gester som kan förbättra världen" och vi kommer att publicera en bok avsedd att ges till italienska och svenska Waldorfskolor. Efter att ha städat delar av skolan, gick några elever och lärare för att shoppa på stan, medan andra föredrog ett bad i Östersjön och avkopplande bastubad. På kvällen hade vi en vacker middag där även en del svenska elever deltog. Vi tackar Cecilia Ferrari, klasslärare på Waldorfskolan, för deras välkomnande och engagemang under dessa dagar som varit fulla av aktiviteter, workshops och livserfarenheter.
